Currently the Executive Secretary of the Media Council of Tanzania, Mr. Kajubi Diocles Mukajanga, has held many posts in non-governmental organizations including Editor; publisher; and Programme Manager for Policy Analysis and Advocacy at HakiElimu in 2006; Regional Programme Coordinator, Governance and Globalisation Programme at Panos Eastern Africa in Kampala from 2004 to 2006 among others. Being an editor, Mr. Mukajanga was a Media Critic and Editor of Media Watch and Barazani, at the Media Council of Tanzania from 1999 a€" 2004 and also a News Editor of the Daily Mail, from 1998 to 1999. He published Wakati ni Huu weekly in the early 1990s. Kajubi Diocles Mukajanga is also an author who has a list of publication including Tanzania Media Fund Project Document, which he wrote for Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in 2007; Young Poets from Africa(1987), Mpenzi novel(1985), Tuanze Lini? novel (1986), Bob Marley a€" Sauti ya Ghetto biography (1984) and many others. Mr. Mukajanga holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology where he graduated 1st Class with Honours at the University of Dar es Salaam, 1994 and has attended numerous specialized courses in journalism and management.
