Summary
In most developing nations, a lot of attention is focused on formal education at the elementary level.It is often forgotten that adults equally need to be educated so that they are better placed to support their children's learning.The result is debilitating,where people's learning is confined to specifis times and spaces.This paper looks at the state of adult education in Tanzania and argues that its connection to democracy needs to be taken seriously.
